ABOUT ME
My name is Bryan Knowles and I have degrees in history and politics & government from Bryan College in Tennessee. I focus in American history with emphasis on the Founding and World War eras.

This website serves as my personal portfolio and a creative outlet for what I continue to learn each year.
I trust you will find some of my work beneficial to your understanding of our nation's origins and trajectory.
Every historian has
a bias - this is mine
I believe in free markets, a strict constructionist view of the constitution, and the concept of federalism. I generally line up with the Austrian school of economics and the classical liberal mode of thinking. As an evangelical Christian, I believe American political and legal tradition has deep roots in the Judeo-Christian value system. I am not a providentialist, nor am I a Libertarian.
INTEGRITY
As a scholar, I am committed to the principle of academic integrity in all my work. All ideas that are not mine I have taken care to appropriately cite. If you quote or reference my ideas, I simply ask that you do the same.
ACCURACY
I am committed to fact-checking my information. Inaccurate information can lead to gross misconceptions and result in dire consequences. If you think a mistake has been made, please do not hesitate to contact me.
PRESENTATION
Every historian has the opportunity to create history through their presentation of past events. A distortional presentation does everyone a disservice. I do not twist other people's ideas to fit my goals.
